Default Tire Wear

Do you guys no what I should expect for tire wear at -3.25 camber in the front and -3 in the rear.
I need these settings to fit some 285-30-18 on all four corners. Less than 2500 miles a year on the street.

Also any toe and caster suggestions would be great.

Thanks

For that many miles why are you worried about it?

I mean I think you will get more tire wear running more toe. Most people here run 0 toe front, 1/4 or 1/8th thereabouts total toe in rear and max caster in front. I know for a fact the tire wear in the rear is a little more as I run mine at 1/4" total toe in rear on 2.5 degrees of camber. Problem is toe settings, at least in the rear, are completely subjective almost. I mean one guy here is running an ap1 with 0 toe, and most of us would consider that death twitch territory. Others are running up to 1/2 total.

Depends. 2500 miles at highway speeds is death to rear tires with toe-in. I run about 3/16" total and I kill 1/32" of tread in about 800 highway miles (from here to Lincoln ).

City driving doesn't seem to be as bad for wear, presumably because they stay cooler and there's less traction.

Ok we are missing a lot of variables. What class? Sm? Anyway. Whats the rest of your suspension setup?

Is it an early ap1? May be able to reduce oversteer by removing the rear bar and adding rear toe. I wouldnt be that concerned about tire wear if you arent putting many miles on it. I mean I ran my last set of used 255 rs3s at least 7k miles running 1/4 of total rear toe and -2.6 deg camber. They already prob had that on em when i put them on the car. So you should get some life outta your tires. Youll lose more due to the fact that youll be spinnin em more because your car is blown. Also i dont know specifics on swift front bar but im guessing it isnt heavy as what most people in str are running. You maybe able to shift from over to understeer with heavier bar.

I wouldn't add rear toe. In my experience it makes AP1 handling less linear and MORE twitchy. Plus wear rate goes up exponentially with toe.

I'd run zero front toe and ~0.2 degrees total rear toe (~3/32" total).

I've run 1/4" and more rear toe, and it sucked, bad, for everything (twitchiness, responsiveness at turn-in, tire life, fuel economy).

I got two and a half track events out of rear tires running 0.64deg rear toe (0.27" total) and they were GONE. I get twice the life out of rear tires running ~0.2deg total, AND tremendously better, more predictable, safer handling.
