Default Tires and handling?

OK, i am looking doing some solo-1 and/or lapping my s2k! What type of tires do you experienced s2k racers recommend? Sizes? etc.

I have used Toyo RA1's and BFG R1's in the past and have always preferred the RA1's but they are getting old in design. I have heard good things about the Kumhos and Hoosiers but i realize they dont last too long.

OH, another side Question, do the 93 RX7 wheels fit a S2k?? My buddy has a set, maybe i can throw those on!

Handling Wise, what can i look forward to with the S2k? turn in understeer? exit oversteer? etc. Boy, it was just so easy throw that Integra around, i think i may have my hands full to race this car at that level or close to 10 tenths!

Thanks in advance!

Keep in mind that your personal driving technique will make a difference. Don't just go buy other's recommended pressures or alignment. I run the OEM tires and find that in stock form, the car understeers and understeers and understeers. THough keep in mind that I am using and NSX as comparison. I tend to run 35/37 F/R for my autocross setup with the OEM tires and stock alignment and sway bars.

Try reducing rear toe-in and you may find the balance better to your liking.

Keeping in mind that I run OEM everything, how much rear toe in is recommended.

6mm total rear toe-in is factory. Using 0-2mm will make the car noticibly looser in the rear, so perhaps you want to try a compromise of 2-3mm toe-in if you want more oversteer (which is the opposite of what many are after).
