Default Tow Loops

Guys-

I am going to remove my 5 MPH bumpers and am looking for an alternative tow point (front and rear). Although I can use the rollbar for a recovery point, that won't help me for strapping the front of the car when on the dyno. I am looking for the tow loops like the ones on the Spoon or J's race cars. Does anybody have any information on these loops or something custom?

TIA

J's makes a set of tow hooks for the S2000 you need to surf through their site to find it. Sorry doesnt look like they have a english site.

If you surf through the japanese site they have pics of their tow hooks on a S2000. It attaches to the bottom of the trunk in the rear can't tell on the front. Unfortunatly you can't save or link pics on their site so you gotta find it yourself.

If you can spec out the sizes and desired material, I can have my neighbor CNC some of these. It would be neccesary to model the specs first. Dave, have you worked with or have access to AutoCAD?

Guys-

I had one made today and it came out great. I'll post some pictures tomorrow. Mine is welded on, but since the frame is hollow, it could just as easily be bolted on.

Dave-

Great find. Mine is something very similar - except I haven't painted it yet

does removing the 5 mph bumpers reduce hi speed impact crash worthiness, or is just for preserving cosmetic bumber in low speed OR both?
