Ashish, I will be there and I no longer own a S2000 anymore and I'm still a poor grad student. Come on, you know you want to take another hit. Just drive within your limits and you should be ok...

[QUOTE=cthree,May 1 2003, 02:14 PM]The only thing you are going to learn on unshaven RA1s is to not do it again.

What you 2 are not getting, is that we understand what you and C3 are saying and have noted that...but we are still going on full tread, then making our OWN decision.

I have seen many threads on this board about how bad the S02s are in the rain; well I now know that to be BS, they are very good in the rain.

I trust what both you and C3 to be saying to be much more accurate, but that does not stop me from wanting to experience it myself and then decide for myself.
I tried to say the same thing over and over, and for some reason it was never able to sink into your head... The learning process was great, thanks! If I had to do it all over again, I would do the same thing because I learn more from actual experience than I do by reading, this has always been the case in my life. If I can get my hands on it and can experience it, I learn and understand way more than if I try to grasp the concepts through reading, be it a forum or a textbook. In the process of driving on those full-tread RA-1s I learned a lot about my suspension set up as I kept making minor changes to verify the squirm was indeed tread block related.

If you are looking for me to say you are right, no problem, you were right about the tires being better performers if bought shaved. But in addition I have to say, had I just followed your suggestion I would have robbed myself from some great experiences, and because of that, your point of view was 100% wrong for my life.

Traveling the road most traveled and on unshaved RA-1s no less. Well if in hindsight you don't wish you had followed our advice then you spent you money and time wisely. You probably voted for Bush too

You don't need to admit to being wrong for you to still be wrong
