Hello all. A few of us from TO are renting the Nelson track at Shannonville. It is located about 2 hrs east from Toronto, Canada. We have 15 people so far, looking to get about 25. The day is this Sunday Aug 19th, 9am to 5pm. We are getting it for half price, $1500 Cdn. Obviously the more people we get the less the cost. This is a totally unsupervised event, no insurance, everyone has to exercise their common sense. There will be no passing in corners, no racing unless agreed to before by the parties involved. Would love to go out but, is there any chance for the fabi or even better, the pro-track??? I would be willing to pay a little more for the better configuration!

Also, what is the skill level of people going? In the past, i have been to lapping days where the people are crazy and stupid on the track and dont give a damn if the car is wrecked, i hope thats not the case here.

 

Well seeing as we have problems getting people together, if we got Fabi the cost would be $200 each.. This is short notice, and that's why it's half price. The skill of the people is novice, BUT we are all mature and there will NOT be any idiots out there. Most of us have 5th gens, they're too nice to smash up... Since we don't have that many people, it will be easy to put everyone into appropriate skill/speed groups after a couple of hours. Let me know if you are interested, bring a friend or two. If we do go, we would most likely leave from Scarborough at around 7am. Tnx
