after reading the thread about straping down on flatbed (https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/941...on-a-flat-bed/) got me thinking how I should tie down on my trailex trailer in the coming weeks. Normally I use it for a miata. I was thinking to just go through the tires with the straps I got (http://www.gforce.com/products/towing/3506.php) Is this not advisable?

But sounds like the better way is using hooks to the frame. So can the snap hook on the strap just lock into these towing hooks?(http://www.awdirect.com/tie-down-hooks-ca15/hooks/)And can you criss cross the straps when using these hooks?

Better yet anybody got some pictures of car strapped on a trailex trailer?
