Default transponder location

so i just got a transponder and i am curious as to where a good spot to put is. i know the front bumper is the most common spot, but i got the wired one instead of the battery one. so i wanted somewhere where i can wire it easily and not worry about it. also what circuit is the best to wire it into or how is yours wired. any help is appreciated.

You can do wired with quick release connects.

I permanently wired mine on the bottom of the center radiator support (in front of radiator) using 4 zip-ties. You should be able to reach through the nose hole to mount it. I ran the wire up to the fuse box on the passenger side near the front shock tower. Make sure you get a switched hot so you don't drain the battery.

did you go right to the fuse or did you splice the wire?

so did you just take out the relay there. mine is in place and it says its the clutch relay. is it not needed or does the relay still fit in with it?

My replay is removed. I think it is the A/C clutch relay so not needed on race car. Better check the shop manual first to make sure.
