Default TT point

Do we have to count point for removal back seats/panel? or whatever back room stuff.

NASA TT's?

I chose the alternate weight method. If you and your AP1 weigh less than 2810, you need to assess yourself points. Weight can be measured at any point during the weekend. Exiting the track after a session is most likely when a car would be weighed.

If your car is truly gutted, you'll be in TTB at a minimum unless you're running street tires. I'm 2780lbs with just under half a tank of fuel, stock exhaust, header, and intake. Do you plan to use ballast?

^ Does that include driver? Competition weight should include driver. Seems like it would be difficult to hit 2780 just by stripping the interior if you add back a full cage + driver's weight.

But, yes, you should definitely use the alternate weight calculation for the S2000, especially if fully stripped.

Matt, none of us are counting them(SPC's) as per our interpretation of the rules because 1) they do not change any mounting locations and 2) are for simple camber adjustment. Also, I ditched the BSK in favor of two points. In your case it doesn't seem to matter. In my case, +2 pts is worth 35lbs of weight reduction. And since I'm not running Hoosiers right now, even not making the 2810 weight, I am still in TTC.

Skip - I could get rid of even more weight if I ran without the bsk, but I'm used to them, and 2575 is the min for HC. Congrats on the win by the way

Rene - I'm still racing PTB, just figured it might throw some readers off if I put it that way, instead of TTB.

I don't know if I'll be doing much H1 in the future. HC requires Toyos, and if I had collected Toyo bucks this year, I might have gotten $100. In PT, you get 2 tires for every win, that's a new set every race weekend. Not to mention that it seems like PT is actually growing.

Can you guys think of anything I might be overlooking points-wise?
