Only one has been created. It was MSM's. He tracked it once and then sold it (nothing to do with the car.) There are several supercharged cars, but no turbo cars running. Keeping it cool, and healthy, will be difficult.

Yeah, that's the problem. Wanted to see if anyone had the guts to maintain such a car for that track.

That's not correct. Chris Bender (cbender in the Portland Forum) had one several years ago. In fact, he had one of the first turbo S2000s ever -- long before there were premade kits. He tracked it as often as he could, but he kept having reliability problems. Almost every time out he would find a new mechanical weakness, fix that, and then find a new one.

After a while he gave up and sold it. (Bought an Elise, which he loves.) I'm pretty sure the guy he sold it to blew it up.

Hmmm... Thanks for the info guys. I currently have b16 eg for the track, just thinking later on I might want to track the S. If I ever do, I'll probably take out the turbo kit.

i have one and I have had one problem in a craked manifold, but that is not really the cars fault. Other than that the car is great on the track and I havent had any other issues.

Not sure what you mean by "the car's fault," but a cracked manifold is EXACTLY the kind of thing you have to grapple with to track a turbo S2000. Lots of heat and vibration leads to things like: cracked manifolds.

the reason I said it wasn't the cars fault was because it was a cheap manifold that had previously cracked.

I think bottom line, there would be a few more things to worry about when running a turboed S on the track. But I guess that's the price you pay for double the hp.
