Yeah, why are the door x-bars bent? Seems like that would not be as strong as the standard x-bars.

The door bars are actually stronger this way than a 3 tube "X". This is the way all rally cars are built. They would pass NASA and SCCA tech with flying colors.
There are some other areas that depending on the tech they will need to do some explaining, but that is the way that cage builder has been building cages for a long time. -tony |

NICE, love the door bars and the subframe pick up. Def looks more like a pro cage rather than time attack. Interesting what you did with the a-pillar bar, as opposed to the tradition halo setup....
What do you have planned for a-pillar gussets? Are you using 1.5 or 1.75? What are your plans for forward of the a-pillar? |
