Awsome Ed!

Few questions...
How fast are you driving on average?
What top speed do you hit on the straigts?
How fast were you going on Turn 3 (the one that curves left going up hill and then to the right coming down)?

Otherwise looks like a freaggin awsome time!!!

Looks pretty good. Nice and smooth. Nice and smooth lets you keep your car running, which is the right goal to have in mind! Both hands on the wheel, also Good!

A few things things that may improve your line at Thunderhill:

Try and stay tight on the entry of turn 3, all the way to the right. Its a throw-away turn so there is no reason to extend your line and waste time driving over extra pavement.

On Turns 9 and 11: you can carry more speed through the turn by tracking out on the exit. While it appears logical to stay tight on the left side, you are just turning the wheels more than you need to and for a longer duration. Those candy stripes are way on the right, try and get your tires to kiss them. They will give you the extra room you will need to track out when you are going faster. Additionally, try turning in earlier on turn 9, right at the #1 brake marker. Its simply an earlier apex than you might think possible.

Yep, nice and smooth... you could go a lot lot faster

One thing I can suggest... if you're still winding in lock as you're reaching the apex you're not going deep enough into the braking zone and not carrying enough speed... i.e. turning in too early. For example, look at the second left hander up the hill when you're behind the 911. You turned in once then as you got down to the apex, you turned in more... your speed + initial turn in didn't carry you down there.

It's kind of diffecult to critique you too much since there's almost no opportunity to make a mistake at that speed
Try to keep your hands in the same location when you return from shifts.... at one point you grabbed the top of the wheel under braking and downshifting... no no. I don't know if you like to set your hands up to be horizontal during the turn, some people do. Personally I like to have my hands in the same place all the time unless I need to shuffle the wheel in a tight turn.

Push that go pedal down!!

It's also tough to say anything about the gear changes since you can't hear them.

Good foundation to go fast though, now lets see a couple opposite lock corrections under braking Just depends how comfortable you are with the rear moving around. It's all about having fun and the shiney side is up now so that's really all that matters.

I agree with everyone above. I'm still a novice but here are some tips that have helped me:

Try not to turn in too early... most turns at Thunderhill have late apexes.

Use as much of the track as possible...hit those burms (sp?) - don't be scared!

Remember slow in and fast out! On the wider turns, gas towards that apex!

Looks good Ed - can't wait 'til we're on the track at the same time!

I honestly don't mean to bash, But without the engine noise it looks like you were just out for a sunday Cruise. Oh and your SLIDEWAYZ rating gets a 0. I saw no Oppsite lock. OH and Advice... Fast in Fast out, is always faster then Slow in Fast out. Don't live by the rules, Bend them but don't bend sheet metal while doing so.

Excuses! Dub some Sounds of F1 in their. Show your video editing skills by matching the sounds of F1 to what happens on the track. But good video, One day i'll make it out to Thunderhill that track looks FUN.
