Default Voltex / J's Wing angle

For the Voltex and J's wing users, especially type 2 Voltex or type 1 J's, what kind of wing angle do you run for the tracks? Importantly, what sort of front aero are you having to balance?

My splitter extends about 2.5" forward from the bottom of my bumper and I'm running a non staggered tyre setup.

Just wondering what angle you guys run and how it feels for you.

Most of us run them pretty "flat"..no angle. Thats how I ran my type 2 and type 7 but it really depends on the track/setup and what your car is doing.

Thanks. It does look like you are running a touch more angle on the type 7, any relation to the higher downforce setup of CR lip + splitter as per your pic?

Not really. It has a little more angle due the type 7s shape. Its not as 3Dish as the type 2 so I put little more angle on it.

Thanks for that and will probably back off a bit on the AoA and see how it feels. Were u running a gurney flap on the type 7? Wonder if the difference of the flap would be noticeable.

Correct, no front aero with a 255 non-staggered set up. 800 or 700 lb fronts depending on the track, 600 lb rears. Stock 05 AP2 sways.
