WSIR 7/10: Team Rauch-Racegroup H1 Honda S2000 qualifies front row P2, 0.1sec off pole, despite shortened qualifying session due to mechanical which put car on trailer.

P2 spot put the very "first west coast region" H1 S2000 in front of the 2002 and 2003 series champions who were just behind in 3rd and 4th spots.

Car still has undiagnosed engine difficulties once engine is fully hot but not overheated which remains a thorny problem. Engine stock with bolt-ons.

Mechanical failure was differential, spewing fluid from left seal. Back up diff unable to be swapped due to current logistics.
