Default What is considered to be stock S2000?

What mods are acceptable in AutoX events for an S2000 to be considered in the stock class? I believe strut bars, swap bars, tires, brake pads, and brake fluids are okay? How about the following:

- short shifter

- gears

- aftermarket calipers (I guess not?)

- springs/coilovers/intake/exhaust (pretty sure these don't won't qualify in stock class, just double checking)

Also, if you know of any other "mods" that still count in stock class, can you post them up here too?

Thanks!

Assuming you are talking about SCCA stock class auto-x:
Rules are here. Main thing to remember is if the rules do not specifically allow a mod, then you cannot change it.
Also, note the FAQ in the stickies at the top of the R&C forum main page

But in quick summary.

Allowed:
any brake pad
any cat-back exhaust
any shock with no more than 2 external adjustments (must use stock springs & perch height)
any front anti-roll bar
any size DOT approved tire you can squeeze on stock sized wheels
any wheel that matches stock dimensions EXACTLY (except for offset +/- 1/4")
any alignment achieveable with stock adjusters

Definitely not allowed:
short shifter
strut bars
gears
different calipers
intake
springs

#1 mod you can make:
Improve the driver (not trying to be harsh, its the truth)

Wow, this is great ... thanks for the info!

But ya, certainly looking to improve the driver skill part first (was originally thinking of short shifter because of the more direct feeling ... I guess that needs to hold off)

"Read the FAQ" seems more appropriate -- it is sitting at the top of this forum.

It appears the rulebook was written by the same people who wrote the US Tax Code. Probably why nobody suggested that solution

The rules seem pretty plain to me. The tax code, not so much.
