I just spent the last hour going though the various posts about which helmet to get. There are a few bike shops in the area that I could find to get an M rated helmet, but I think it would be smarter to get an SA rated helmet at this point. I would like to go shopping for one, but I don't know where to look.

I am looking for Brick and Mortor type stores. I want to be able to try something on, and I really don't want to wait for shipping times. Ideally I would like to purchase something today.

Where should I go to get a helmet?

(BTW -- I am in the NW Suburbs of Chicago if anyone has any specific suggestions.)

I ordered my sa2000 bieffe predator from saferacer.com. I basically got lucky with the size. I'd go to a motorcycle shop and try some on, then order it online to save some $$$.
