Default Who makes a performance muffler?

I had a local muffler/performance shop install 2.5" from header back with a Magnaflow muffler, $200. Muffler lasted two track weekends before it blew out and sounds like crap. Car is mainly a track car used for ttc with Nasa. It's not a daily driver. Performance and fit are most important but i do drive it on the street for fun now and then.

The guy next door (CPR Fabrications) does solid work as well. He does all my Ti welding.

and less expensive though I have done business with both and have nothing but praise for either one

the stainless steel scrubble packing option will likely serve you for many years (they are repackable), the ultimate is the stainless steel wire mesh packing that will last forever in even a rotary engine application, but it has a weight penalty if that matters to you.

Berk 3 inch headerback! with testpipe or HFC option welded onto it.
The exhaust is approx 500 to 600$ incl. testpipe or HFC if im correct.
Pretty light aswel compared to stock (half the weight).
Sounds nasty too, I'm still addicted to the sound after months. People keep commenting that they think theres a sportsbike flying by ^^

I really like my Vibrant muffler. http://www.amazon.com/Vibrant-1147-S.../dp/B001804VDI

Seems to be well made, is a straight through design, and sounds pretty good.
