Hard to tell, there's a lot of dirty tire tracks the entire length of what's in frame. Also hard to tell since every club does things slightly different.

 

The green cone and fire extinguisher and green flag (which was likely just waved to signal the "GO") lead me to think that it's likely the start. That and the amount of debris/dirt in that location with that kind of dispersion is all very telling of the "start."

you guys are correct, it's the start. green cone is the stop & "go" point
excuse the dirt but the 50th state fair brought in dirt for something at the fair during summer, add rain and there was mud in our grid.
