How did you widen the back? How much would something like that cost?

Why would you want it farther back? Assuming he's getting enough air over the roof to generate downforce with the wing, it seems like you would want it as close to the rear axle as possible, that way you get downforce on the rear wheels without also causing a "lifting" action on the front wheels. The farther behind the rear axle you have it, the longer the lever arm will be (with the rear axle acting as a pivot point), therefore the more upward force there will be on the front end of the car.

I'll buy that. If the wing makes 150lbs at 120mph, I'm guessing then a splitter and corner weighting could take care of that, no? Aslo, stiffer springs in the rear?
A splitter might help, but it seems sad to waste that good downforce just to overcome the "bad" un-downforce generated by the rear wing, when it could be used for something positive like increased traction.

Corner weighting won't really help because that's a static adjustment and downforce generated by a wing is a dynamic force that changes with speed.

Also, stiffer springs won't help. The amount and location of downward force won't change, and the pivot point won't really change much either, so you'll still be seeing the same net result of upward force at the nose of the car.
