Default '02 S2000 vs. ? SRT-4

SRT-4 had downpipe, CAI, BOV, exhaust, and stock boost (don't remember the rest). I was bone stock.

We went from a dig. I held it around 6000-6200 rpm and dumped the clutch. I got him off the line but once my tires had grip I was at around his door. After that he just slowly crept away. I wasn't paying attention to how fast I was going but when he shut down I was about 3-4 cars back.

I was not expecting a whole lot from my car though, so it's all good. I think the guy filmed it cause when I met up with him to give him props, he was holding a video camera (Probably had a passenger with him that filmed?). He complimented my launch though, saying he's never seen anyone who launched that well.

My first race and my first launch with this car. Very fun though. I felt the adrenaline rush.

EDIT: I also had the top down.

Yea those srt-4s can be pretty quick, i havent raced one but my brother w/ his '02 stage 2 wrx did from a dig and beat it pretty well. but anyway good call stickin w/ him in stock form.

PS it doesnt matter your top was down lol..if it was a dig up to like 100 then maybe so but i dont wanna be the one to start that already played out arguement. but yea if you wanna piss off the owner just call his car a quick neon

a cold air on turbo cars raises the boost. if he had a turbo back exhaust (down pipe back) *i think* he will need to add more fuel. they make a chip for those that raises the boost to 15 psi on stock everything. good racing.

good race. srt-4 responds well to inexpensive mods. stock for stock it wouldve been really close.

I got spanked by a modded SRT 4 in my stock EVO. They are fast with bolt-ons.

Skittles are only tasty if you can catch 'em. I really dislike neons, but for 22000 brand new, they're impressive.
