well I just filled up and was on my way home when all of a sudden I see HIDs in my rear view coming up pretty quick. it passes me and I see that its a red rx-8. he passes me about a car lenght on the left lane then slows down as if he was waiting for me. I just cruzed on... then he pulls away so I changed into his lane and follow, then all of a sudden the trys to break check me?? WTF? so i got pissed!!! I pull into the next lane and he punches it... down to 3rd gear and I pass him doing about 65-70ish... then we come to a stop light... it turns green, shifting at 9k 1st and 2nd... he was already behind me... what a dumb ass. anyway I just have to share.

Why on earth would an RX8 owner try to race anyone in a straight line?

 

Don't make fun of the RX8. It can almost give some of the quicker sport compacts a run for their money. Actually, it's pretty sad. At least it's RWD and handles well enough.

Gas mileage aside, RX8 is actually a pretty nice car all around.

 

I like RX7's.

 

id drive one with a LS2 in it.
