hey, i dont know, but i think i would do alright against a z06, i believe this because my bro has a 03' cobra, (which is 390hp and 390 torque and its faster than a stock vette and just under the z06, in performance) both my dad and my friend brook(guy) are both excellent drivers, my dad is bad ass..anywho, theyve both driven the cobra and my car and they both agree that my car would beat the cobra, i mean i know my driving skills wouldnt let me beat a z06, but my car is capable of it..i can atleast spin the tires through 4 gears.......By the way its supercharged, h/i/e...all that..so i just want to know what you guys think... sooo, all input would be welcomed..

Same drvier, same conditions you would probably lose. Those cars are making 375 whp stock. With air intake, TB, pulley, and full exhaust an easy 430 hp. Your car would probably pull high 12's. The Mustang is about mid-high 12's stock, with some getting into low 12's quite easily.

 

Honestly, I think you'd get smoked by an 03 Cobra and a Z06. A stock C5 is more in your league.

 

ive seen the cobra running low thirteens, never seen them running 12's

 

also....thanks for the input, greatly appreciated, but you really dont think i havea chance? have you been in the new cobra? i was told by my dad you cant really power shift them because of how goofy the transmission was set up, and he can power shift extremely well......i was just thinkin it would be good because of the comparison of the two cars by the same driver....hrrmmm..what else.....how many on this site are supercharged?

 

not me, not yet how much $$$ would it run me to get one. including supercharger, computer, dyno ect.

 

kinda like all those morons with 1000 hp supras running 12's, it's all in the driver really, the 03 cobra is capable of mid 12's stock if driven right, its just hard to do given fords shitty IRS. and who cares how you'd do against a vette or cobra, it's all up to the driver in the end,.drive your car and be happy with it, no need to worry about comparing yourself to other cars.

 

A stock cobra will still run faster times than you.

A stock Z06 will simply rape you.

THese times are low for the cobra, but not everyone who owns one can drive it that well, right? so i think my car could stick...i have comptech, cost me eight grand all together to put on...i/h/e supercharger, you have to buy a reinforced rearend which was like 440, then plus labor, i got all this done at bell honda in phoenix...i can get it to spin in four gears which i think is awesome, and its not that i care so much about the others, its just my bro has the cobra and i know i can beat him..he's not that great a driver...well thanks for all the input
