Okay fellas, got a call from a friend tonight asking me if I would run his buddy's Cobalt SS (the supercharged one). So I ask him if his friend will do it for $20, you know, just to make it interesting not really a lota money just a principle thing.

So we go to a nice industrial park with a very wide long straight road, about 1/2mile long and pretty well lit and line it up.

Cobalt SS

-Full Exhaust
-Engine Torque Damper

AP2 S2000
-Mugen Replica Intake
-Greddy TIC + 60 mm testpipe
-NGK Engine Torque Damper


Race (Best outa 3): Drag and Roll

Results: 2 drags, 2 rolls, S2000 victorious. Too many cars to count from a dig, and from a roll id say from about 40-140 6 or 7 cars maybe more wasnt really watching rear view but he was far.

Ended up being chumped for the $20. The money really wasnt important but it was the principle of it.

Race a turbo one next time, I think you will find it a better race

 

its no contest with the ss supercharged, nice wins, next time find a ss turbo cobalt (i'd like to see what those can do)

They're not as fast as people make them out to be. Decent, but not amazing.

For the amount of money spent on the car for the race below, its not as quick as I would have thought.
