^ Lol...Pointblank...I have no idea what your talking about Parasitic friction? Anyways Evos do pull up top pretty good the whole awd thing is way overrated IMO. My Evo pulled to 165+ without breaking a sweat, yeah it was modded but even stock it hit 150+ easily.

you can keep up with, and possibly beat an an Evo <9 if you're lucky. Evo 9, you will not keep up below 100.

No matter what is actually happening in the race, an srt-4 will appear out of nowhere and beat both cars.
what he says is true because the srt4 can never lose

My friend's S2 lost to a EvoIX MR.

I'm still pissed at the Evo for racing because he was still on break in.. =\

But yeah that was a roll.

I haven't been past 120 yet but I heard that after around 140 Evos start to taper and accelerate slower..

^ Yeah because the boost tapers down but a cheap boost controller and thats fixed With the mods i had on my Evo it would pull past 140 like nothing, sometimes I would look down when I was messing with someone and I would be at like 145 and be surprised at how hard it was still pulling at that speed.

stock for stock at higher speeds the Evo will have trouble since it's a brick. higher speeds = 85mph +.

now i dont know about the Evo IX, since i havn't read that many runs with it (stock for stock), but what i said above applies to stock pre 2006 Evo's (Evo VIII's).

It takes a truely skilled driver to extract 100% from an S whereas almost anyone can drive an EVO. My money is on the EVO.
