I'm rollin 55 with top down radio on.... just creeping past the only car EVO.. we are going up a little hill for 3/4 mile and X-50 working good... I give it a little more 60....62....65.... and I here him drop down a gear and the after market blow off.... Fffffssss...

I'm in 5th floored 70....75... and we are on 95 vtec hits in and now I'm 2 car in front
and Hear him shift to the next gear I heard that stupid Fffssss..
I'm at 110...115 I let off and slllloooowwww down

I really thought he would zip past... I was in 5th and other than flooring it thats all I did

He slowly pulls up to the light.. hes lookin at me Im smiling... I say out
nice car cool 4 doors ... he knew he lost ....

And I was having a Not so good day.. That made it Soooo much better

evo really has no top end 70 to ......

 

All I have to say is get your flame suit on....

 

Either the evo guy couldn't drive or wasn't trying since you never downshifted. I've raced a evo from a 50mph roll before and was about a car length ahead at 110mph before we shut it down and both of our cars were stock.

Dude... maybe he was in 4th... That's the only way I can see it. 6th gear in a s2000 at 65 mph huh? And you beat a EVO that downshifted all the way? Get real.

Were you driving a 911TT Cab. X50?

and they better include aftermarket gears, because 6th gear on an S2000 doesn't hit VTEC (6000rpm) until about 108. but you're claiming 95....

so what mods do you have?

You'd be smelling Evo fumes before you hit 95 on 6 from 70 -75.
If the Evo was behind you, you'd actually slow him down, A LOT.....
I know 'cause i have a Evo.
