Default 2000 vs mustang

The reason I am posting a easy kill is,there are not many new stories.I was on my way home from work and I stoped at a light,a mustang pulls up next to me and started reving his engine (v6) so I know when the light turns green he is going to hit it.I knew it would be an easy kill but why not.The ligt turned green and I launched normaly(2000 rpm) and he spun his tires,we were side by side till I hit about 5000rpm and then I started to pull away at, 7000 I was now 2 car lenghts, when I shifted at red line I was around 5 car lengths.I went through 2 and then some of 3rd when I had to slow for the next light he was around 200 yards behind. He pulled up to me at the next light laughing and all he could say was "that shit is fast" and I just said yes it is and we went on our way.

Everytime I hear the S being called the "2000", it just evokes bad recalls of FnF for me...and then proceeds to irritate me to the point of annoyance...to the point I run from my computer terminal screaming............................

Am I the only one?

Good kill...newer v6 5 speeds are mid 15 to low 16 second cars....good kill with only a 2,000rpm launch...they're slow

I figure with my fiance's 99 V6 5 speed Mustang could get 15.0's-15.1's@91-92 MPH next time out.

Basically stock car.
