How would my s2k perform against a 1995 300zx (automatic)?

My friend has one and has been talking alot of crap ever since I got my s2k.

I have this old airfield in my neighborhood that people sometimes drag race on and he wants to race me.

Should I start returning trash talk or should I keep my mouth shut to make sure I can actually beat him.

Both cars have no mods.

 

is it twin turbo? if not, then you will dust the shit out of him.

There's a vid where lips races a 300zx and it's no contest.

 

Yeah, '95 300ZX Auto w/o Turbo was a dog - you should have no problems...

If it is a Turbo Auto - I would say could be a close race...

Either way, you are better to stay quiet and let the S2K do the trash-talking for you....

I dont believe its the twin turbo.

 

It's a no brainer! Check out the library section of S2KI and there is a video of me stomping my friend his 300Z. His manual but the results should be close to the same.

even a stock 300z turbo isn't that fast..specs on them are mid 6's 0-60. i haven't raced one, but that is what I have read. a friend of mine was a big fan of the 300zx...until he drove a turbo one and was disappointed with the lack of go...this was the manual too.

Talk trash to him all you like. He's not going to beat you. Doesn't matter what model he got(tubo/stick/auto/non-turbo), you still going to smoke him as long as he's stock. Spot him a car if you like. I raced 2 300zx turbo/stick with intake/exhaust and i put around 3 cars on them (numerous times). How many miles do you have on your S2000. As long as it have around 2/3+K miles, you'll have no problem.

I hate 300ZX=big/fat/domestic interior/bad fuel injections/bad electiral problems.

 

I smoked plenty of modded 3 Z's in Frisco. They are all heavy and overrated. Latez!
