350Z VS S2-Raw
Went to the track yesterday and to my luck I lined up with a brand new 350Z. I talked to the guy for a second before we raced. He said it's brand new and his first time at the track. So we lined up and got ready. I revved up to 6500 rpm and just dropped the hammer. Instantly, off the line I put about 3

Auggie, No wheel spin at all. I really think this is a prime example on how much of a difference "bad drivers" can really make.. While I was watching the video at home I noticed I was already 1 car length ahead before he even reacted!! I revved up to 6500 and popped the clutch and it looked like he was at idle and just eased on to the throttle. I don

Why would someone want to "cruise" down the drag strip knowing his motor isn't broken in yet? Seems like a waste of time to me. How fun would it be to shift at 3000 rpm every gear? I'm certain it was broken in or I'm at least certain he was 'trying" After all, he did trap 95 mph.

His first time on a track, so he probably granny shifted instead of launching.
S2000 would still beat the 350Z until about 90mph's then the Z starts pulling on us. (We'll beat it in a 1/4th mile run though)
Those numbers are from the Road and track which compared the 350Z roadster, Z4, S2k, and Boxter. We dont kill any of them, but we win unless the driver screws up.
