I just wanted to say that this weekend I walked 2 fox body 5.0s starting from a low speed roll

It's just funny that both my races this weekend were fox bodies for some reason. It must be cuz those dang mustang owners think they're the cat's meow...

I will admit they both sounded really good

 

i remember when i got walked on with my 99 civic, this is when i was much younger and i thought my ex was really fast.
So when i pulled on a 5.0 with my car it was sweet payback i guess =)
Congrats on the kills.

 

I always find it enjoying to bring some mustangs back down to earth..

 

No to thread jack but.... I have a simular story as well, I was waiting at the light to enter the local by-pass in my old 2000 si, a red 5.0 pulls up w/ two idiots in it next to me I look over and they just start laughing so.... the light turns green we roll from the light alittle then I hear roarrrrrrrrrr!!!! still in first I droped the hammer and let it go mid way through 4th they were atleast six lengths back, so I let off irritated they race back up beside me let and wind the ol 5.0 up again low and behold I see a state boy and just let them go where they soon got pulled over and the laugh was on them.

 

If you have the right mods, S2k's can surprise alot of cars...... Its also fun taking down some of the bigger dogs.....

 

some of the old fox bodies are turds, but better watch some of them. you might get them from a dig just because of the lack of traction, but when they get rolling they're a force to be reckoned with. they can be made quick for just a couple grand if you know where to invest your money

 

Oh yeah its easy to get good power out of the 5.0, its just funny when they think they're gods gift once they've got some flowmasters on there.

 

My friend in his basically stock integra with an b18c5 (itr motor) ran right beside a supercharged 5.0 fox body. We have a video of it if I can find it I will post it LOL.
