Default 92-95 civic

well i was at whataburger around 1am, waiting in line and a 92-95 white civic hatch with gunmetal rsx (i think) wheels kept revving up behind me, so when i left i ran it through first on the street that goes infront of the restraunt

i take the freeway one exit over and am sitting at the light and low and behold mr. white civic pulls up next to me, both turning left at the light. I look over and his eyes are just dead on the light, so im like whatever.. light turns green he goes into the turn as quick as he can, and i take it normally, and i hear him get on it under the overpass so i figured I'd stomp it in first and blow by him, so i hit it, about a car length back, and pull to his bumper, but then he weaves into my lane as im shortshifting into 2nd at 8k he quickly gets back in his lane and keeps going, so now, kinda pissed i stay on it again, now being 2 cars back, but im a little hesitant so just shortshift at 8k through 2nd up to about 60 and he lets off, at which time im about half a car behind.
I pull up next to him and he looks at me and smirks with a head nod like hes saying "yaaa what you think about that?"

Im curious as to what he has done to it that i didnt stomp him (gf has same year 4d civic and its slow as balls)

heh anyways, little frustrating knowing hes on some civic forum talking about how he beat this s2k lol but its whatever, he was taking pictures of my car while we were in line at whata

that punk probably used those pics as proof of the s2k that he "supposedly" beat

yeah dont trip it happens to everybody
these guys in slower cars take off full speed
and wait for you to bite
then as soon as you're about to blow past them
they let off the throttle or throw the hazards

thats what im thinking as well..

Considering going trolling a few civic forums, see if he made a post about it, just to see what he said "happened" and then I can ask him to race for real, see what he says

as I know for a fact there are a couple 10.5-11 second daily driver civics in my area. The number of actual well done civics to retards with a stick shift are monumental. I dont ever worry about a civic "eating me alive" And when and if they do, I am more than happy to give them the much deserved thumbs up.

^^ oh absolutely if I was ever legitimately killed by one i'd give respect where its due, but this guy really pissed me off, with cutting in my lane and the BS and then to give the smirk nod, then drop back and turn off the road like he just owned me.. lol

It doesn't take much for a civic EG(92-95) to be quick. A simple B18C5 swap in a EG will probably take us easily. I don't understand how so many S owners don't know that. I guess most never owned EG's and EK's with swaps. I got couple of guys with swaps in EG's and Ek's ranging from your average b16-b18 all the way to your k20 swap. My guy with a Eg hatch stock weight with a B18C5 hatch runs 13.4's all day. That is completely stock so he will pull on s2ks except for F/I ones. Curb weight for a 1992 CX hatchback is 2,094 LBS. Drop a B18C5(type r) motor (200HP) and you will be hitting high 12's low 13's all day. Power to weight ratio is key.
