Default 97+ corvette vs ap2

so i pull up to a light and i look over and there's a 97+ white corvette. light turns green and we do a 5 mph 1st gear roll and were dead even all the way through 3rd then shut down cause i have to turn. its not a kill or death but im happy. does anyone know if these are quicker than the 6.0L gto's? what they do in the 1/4? so on and so forth. he gave me the look like its just a honda i bet he was mad

They're supposed to run low 13's in the 1/4 and aren't quite as fast as a 6.0 goat. The automatics are a couple tenths slower. Have you taken your car to the track? I'd be quite interested to see what kind of numbers you could put up. Nice run.

im going to the track asap. i ran a 6.0 gto 5mph roll and pulled him by 1 1/2 cars to the begining of 4th. i want to run high 12's with an aem v2 berk tp custom single exhaust 00-01 ecu with a vafc II tuned. it was a manual vette.

Sorry this is off topic, but i have a quick question. With 4.77 whats your RPMs at 70mph? Or whatever speed you normally do on the freeway?

If I was to guess, I'd say hes about 220 at the wheels, but his gears do help a lot.

i put down 202/203whp on a dynojet with a stock ecu not performing right. check engine light p0607 said something about engine control module performance. the most recent time i dynoed we try to tune with a vafcII but it kept flickering so we pulled it out. the tuner did another pull w/o the vafcII and the dyno graph didn't change. so i think my ecu is going bad. when i dynoed with just a berk tp and invidia i dynoed 215whp on the same dynojet. hence why im gettin the 00 ecu and tuning with a vafc II. i SHOULD and hope to be around 220whp with the aem v2 berk tp and custom 63mm single exhaust. with the tune maybe 225whp and high 12's n/a

The guy who asked about the 4.77s on the Ap1 at 80 mph I am at around 5050-5150. I have to leave some room in there because of my speedo corrector. I think the 4.77s make the car a better DD. MY 2 cents
