Default Accord V6 VS Ap2

Driving in Tierrasanta, San Diego, I see an NFR Ap2 in front of me on a red light, it had some kind of aftermarket wheels that I did'nt see ( they werent stock). Being a former s2k onwer, I rolled down my window, flashed my lights to get his attention and gave him a big thumbs up for his car. The light turned green, he moves and then kind of pushes it but not really. I wanted to come next to him coz I wanted to see if I knew this gentleman but he starts going faster and faster. I got faster too since I really wanted to see him. lol but I never reved the engine high or anything because I never wanted to disrespect the S.

But what disappointed me was when he gets on the 15, and he zooms passed the red light. I was like, REALLLY, I am driving an Accord Coupe and you know that if I race you, you will smoke me. Why would you act all Fast and Furious eventhough I gave you a thumbs up.

IF you are on the forum, please drive carefully and respect the S. SMH.

What year accord coupe? I also own a 2010 6,6 accord coupe besides my ap2. IT will surely give a stock S a run for its money if not beat it. The coupe puts you in your seat like an evo. It's actually surprisingly quick for a heavy fwd coupe.

Maybe he thought you were gunning for him

Maybe he didnt see thumbs up and saw your fist and assumed it was his babymomma's boyfriend who escaped from prison and finally found him. He hauled through the redlight in hopes to escape and alert the police but he knew as well as we do that he will never be safe, which is why he needs to form a new identity and start over.

Mine is a 04 v6 Coupe, it actually does have smooth power in the engine and it sounds good too. But since yours is 2010, it would be faster. From what I think, my Accord could have kept up with the ap2 but I never would want to race an s2000. I just feel like its disrespecting it .

What you said is actually true. The s can take corners real good and I know that. But the S driver looked like he didnt know that freeway entrance real well, he entered too fast and then kind of braked too hard, lol I could tell that he was surprised by how quickly it turns. But I was all ready for it and going slow, since that is my way to/back to work.

I am glad that we were safe, hopefully he was too when he disappeared .lol

Are you serious about an accord pulling as hard as an evo? Have you ever been in a properly launched evo?
