Always a bigger fish =)
Well as the title says, there will always be a bigger fish in the sea
. It so happens that this time the bigger fish was a new Corvette C6 with (as far as I knew) a mean sounding exhaust. We did 3 runs. First run, 50ish, went on 3 honks I got the lead but I missed 5th gear and he missed 4th so I ended up ahead by maybe 1 car if that. Second run 55mph, 3 honks. He instantly got the jump while my turbo, for maybe a half second, spooled and then we were dead even, with him ahead that initial ~3/4 car, into my 6th gear. Did one last run from, again, 55mph and the outcome was the exact same as the second run. Defininatly great runs and proves you must show some respect to those cars...they MOVE.
Now I need to get rid of my 57 gears (slow me down at high speeds), get a single, and get some larger injectors
Oh, and no way in hell a stock s2k could take a C6 in a million years becuase even I couldn't ring him in
EDIT: To quote a buddy of mine the vette had "headers off road x pipe catback intake and throttle body so that explains why we were dead even, I bet those mods add a good 30-50hp on those big ass engines

good runs, whoever claims a stock S can run with a C6 is just crazy.
My buddy raced a Auto C6 Z71 or whatever package with the paddles.... they ran DEAD even... that was a 348RWHP S/C s2k.

good run. i didnt know they were that quick. i beat a C5 by a car from 45-110. i was thinking id barely lose to a C6, but you have over 100whp on me and you lost.
maybe next time start in a RPM that already spools your turbo. id say go 40 in 2nd since you have the gears. if you had oem 4.10's, id say start it at 45 in 2nd
