i'll race too! just to see how much faster the sc is compared to a stock S2k.
I race My buddies Comptech SC'd S last night from 60-140 a few times. He put about 1.5-2 Bus Lengths on my car.. He would pull more as the speeds increased.

My Mods - PRM Intake w Invidia exhaust. I put down 214.1 RWP

His Mods - Comptech Supercharger w\o After Cooler and Invidia exhuast. His Set up is untuned and he put down 286 RWP

So with a S with 330-340 I am guessing he would but about 3+ Bus Lengths on a near stock S2000.

I wish you guys were around here. Ive raced one S/C from a roll. He was in a higher gear when we started but as soon as he shifted I walked him. Turbos are great!!! Now about the diff. My car is getting a new one as we speak. I ran a 12.8sec 1/4 mile with a stock clutch and Kumho tires. The car only had 320hp @ 8lb. Now its 456hp at 18lbs. Much more fun

WTF! Stock clutch? My clutch lasted only 3 weeks, that's with 5lbs of boost. 12.8 that's smokin, especially only 320hp. Do you have gears? Anything else? I hope you're car holds up. Driveability will be a challenge, the clutch I have I absolutely hate!

I don't usually go out looking for races but I do get picked on sometimes. You just have to go to the right places. ie: a street where a lot of young guys drive on. All of the "races" I've been in are initiated by other guys, mostly in their 20s.
Heh. I'm in the same boat.

I have stock pulley and stock (small) Comptech aftercooler radiator as well as stock exhaust. Trying to keep that sleeper look as long as possible. Not many challenges though. I guess I also don't go looking for trouble.

It's nice to know I have an ace up my sleeve with the SC.

The car was on a stock motor with 8lbs of boost. I now have the bottom end done so that wont blow up again. I have to get the Diff done its in the shop now for that. They put a 4 puck clutch on and its not fun to drive on the street.

Same here! I hate that damn thing! I am sure people that see me assume I can't drive. There is almost no way to drive it smooth.

I'd like to see that run. Unless you're running drag slicks and a launch controller...you're not getting anywhere near 12.8 on a drap strip with only 320rwhp.

I promise.....

What are you running? I imagine it is probably close to that 12.8 mark, without n20. I want to go to the track and see what I can run.
