There is a guy that I run into all the time. He has a brand new 06' 9-3 Aero sport Sedan. He has the 6-speed manual in it as well. Are these very fast? He always talks mad sh!t and wants to race me for money(jackass, like this is F&F or something). What would the outcome be from the line if I raced him(I have an 05' S, with only CAI)????

I normally would not ask this, but I have no idea what Saab's are capable of I know they have 250/hp and 258/lbs.tq from a 2.8L V6 Turbo.

Any ideas???

not sure about the new saabs, but i know my friend back in the day use to push 25lbs + out of those old turbos. Wasn't crazy fast, but should be something to take seriously. As for this guy, doesn't sound like he knows much about cars. Being he wants to race for money. I doubt this guy is even a car guy. If his car is stock i say go for it. As long as your a decent driver.

 

I don't know the specs, but I do know that car has an engine built by Subaru. I thought it was the same as the one in the WRX Sti, or something very similar...

the only saabs to look out for a the Viggen 9-3's. 270 hp.

 

Saabs have a following... A moddified Saabs can be very quick.

The 9-3 with just a chip should be a good run for a S2000..

you should be able to win...... saabs are heavy, but like posted above, viggens are good
