I know people hate "what will win?" threads, but I have to ask. I have a MY07 stock and my neighbor just got a new Saturn Sky Redline. Per R&T, I win(13.8@100.8 to his 14.0@99), but that seems to close to call.
Has anyone raced one?

 

I recently drove one, and to me it felt like the weakest 260hp I have ever felt.

You know I've bee wondering the same thing.. The day after I bought my S a brand new red line pulled along side me at a light. Of course I didn't run him but I've always wondered.

 

i dont think the saturn is all that impressive.

Didnt really care bout it.. but now im wondering, what kinda engine does those thing has? 4 or 6 cylinder?

 

i heard from C&D that the saturn sky redline will kick the s2000's ass... but i doubt it... my neighbors bought a saturn sky a little after i got my MY06 s2000... i suspect they got jealous but they wanted to stay american... sorry to go off topic, but i dont think it can beat the s2000. at least not when there are turns involved...

its a 2.0 turbo charged ecotec. a guy i lift with down at the gym as a turbo pontiac solstice. (same thing as a satrun sky) we messed around from around 30-90. he caught me out of vtec so he got the jump a lil bit. i had him by about half a fender. ofcourse this was before the 4.56 gear swap

their not that slow.. the gearing is just really long due to it being turboed. so due to the fact the rpms dont climb as fast as the s2000s, he might give that "slow feeling"
