I have my own video of me racing an M3. I'm working on extracting sound with the vid but need better software and computer. we raced from 3rd gear and shut down about 120.

Click to Download Its only 1.25 megs.

Looks like that M3 owner missed a gear or something..

actually the S2000 is just faster. I know the guy and talked to him afterwards and he said that I just pulled away and he couldn't do anything. Highway races have little chance of driver error and a Supercharged S pulls VERY strong in 4th gear just like you can see in the vid. He let off after i put 2 cars on him.

Agreed. I had similar run ins on the top end (4th and up), and my car was a very basic SC kit, with few supporting mods.

I raced one last night and beat it by .5 of a car in the end of 4th.
Silver S2K, you only pulled this M3 by .5 car at the end of fourth ?

It's also important to be at the right rpm and gear, 45 in 2nd in the M3 and 70 mph in 3rd in the M3 from a downshift pulls hard. If the guy in the M3 started around 60 mph in third, then it is a possibility you pulled him legit.

Some dudes just don't know how to drive their cars. But props on the vid, I like watching them.

when it comes down, the S is just faster. As you can see in the vid, we started in his right power range and he got the jump on me, then i stopped the little pull he started with and blew by him. The other m3 I was racing was when i just got the SC put on and I had a horrible launch so I had to play catch up.

I'll race a base 285-295 hp s2000 and we can get it on vid. I'll show you it won't happen that way.

It can happen, but not like that. That's all I'm saying.

I raced an smg 01 m3 a couple years back. It was during winter. And winter in Miami is like 60 degrees. We ran twice from a first gear roll and I put three cars on him both times. He was stock and was running a Vortech kit.
