AP1 & R32 on togue
After picking up some coffee with my wife this morning we ran in to a R32 on the way home (we live on a mountain side), he looked stock. I have exhaust, mugen hardtop, and softtop delete. I thought it was a GTI but my wife said no thats an R32, I knew she was right as soon as it took off
. I debated a few seconds as to wether to give chase or not and decided to do it.
.
I caught up to him at a stop sign he definately had me 0-60, but I seemed to start gaining around 40 and I definatley had a handling advantage over 50. He seemed to have some traction issues probably driver error. I had to let off several times because there wasn't room to pass and I was dominating
.
He gave me a wave when we went our seperate ways, all in all I had a lot of fun!
Serious kill for us had there been room at any point I would have passed he only seemed to be at a advantage in super low speed situations.

Traction issues in an AWD car with 250bhp seems a bit unlikely...definitely must have been driver error.
sounds fun though, and your wife sounds pretty cool
MKV R32's aren't really built for performance, more of a tourer imo.
