So I just got my S2000 three days before this, and I was still learning how to launch properly. I have a CAI and DC headers. Anyway my friend that has an '05 WRX(non STI) that has an HKS hi-power exhaust, short-ram intake, and BOV wants to run. I had a passanger , he didn't. So we go out to a long strip of road and my friend counts down. I get a really bad launch and of course he takes off with his all-wheel drive. I quickly gain on him and my front bumper is at his back bumper at about 70. We are even at about 95 and I pass him at 100 and from then on im gone. It was a good race but I it could have been better. Later that night I beat a couple other cars that were pretty much confidence booster races like an RSX and a modded up Sentra.

I don't think i'm the shit either, plus I drive like a grandma everywhere because cops love to pull our cars over. Nice kill btw, the 06 non sti's are a lot quicker then the 05's and below w/a few bolt on's, their actually taking out sti's in some of the racing videos that I have seen.

I am getting a test pipe and selling my horrible headers for megans pretty soon, and as soon as I put it on, ill give him another run. I can't wait to see the look on his face then. Hes not one of the arrogant subie owners, but there are a lot of subie owners where I live that do think they are the shit. My doctor told me the only medicine for a subie owner like that is to give them a couple doses of VTEC. Thats pretty much a cure-all for me.
