Myself and the G/F went to walmart to get some photos developed. On the way out we decide to get something to eat.

KFC sounded good at the time. As we were getting ready to pull out of walmart we see a silver 350Z with blue LED lights in the side vents. Well the G/F is just crazy about 350Z's and this is her favorite one that she sees. I start to follow the guy.

We get to a stoplight pulling out of walmart and I roll down my window and attempt to talk to him. He stares straight ahead. Eventually he looks over (by this time I'm done trying to get his attention and I just wave at him which he returns).

So we begin to fight our way through the saturday night traffic. The 350Z has a clear lane but I have cars blocking me. He does 35 in a 45 to make sure I can keep up. "Hmmm, this guy is baiting me" I think.

Well The lane eventually clears up once we get to a more desolated place. We both slow down to about 35 in a 55 and stay side by side.

Race 1. 35mph start.
I downshift to 2nd gear at around 5k RPM. He looks over as he hears my exhaust note chance. I then give three honks. On the third I gun it. (Maybe he was asleep at the wheel) I jump about half a car ahead then I hear him go WOT. By the end of 2nd I have him by about a car. By third I have him by 2 cars. I shut down at 80.
But he's not had enough and does a ricer flyby.

After this he slows down and it turns out we are going the same way. (I missed the exit to KFC and have to take the longer route.) The lane eventually turns into a 4 lane road again.

He then lines up against me and slows WAYYYY down.

Race 2. 25mph start.
I downshift to 1st gear this time. He go's WOT. I'm not sure if he has or not because he has not honked. So I proceede to go WOT but let off once or twice.
By the time I'm sure he is racing I'm at the end of 1st. He is half a car ahead. 2nd gear sqawks, then go's. I've reeled him in to me having the lead by a bumper. 3rd gear comes and I contine to walk. I shut down at 85 being 1 car ahead.

He does another ricer flyby to 100+ which I ignore. I contine on my merry way to KFC before it closes.

The g/f is angry that I beat her favorite car. "That guy just sucks at driving" she keeps saying.

 

Well if it is one of the pre-07's that seems right. I walked one bad with my minor bolt ons...

 

Nice kill. Yea pre 07 Zs are wierd. My Z is a 03 with a build date of 7/02. I never have problems taking down S2ks. I ran my buddy in his 2007 Z and we were even the whole time. And he's not stock either. Had a track day about 6 months ago. 2 buddies of mine went. One has a AP1 and the other has a 2005 Z. Both were running exact same times. 14.1s. I run and finish the quarter @ 13.9. But everyone is convinced that I got the factory freak.

my gf lovesss my S she is prolly getn a g35 next but plans on a S in white sooner or later. She HATES! z's she thinks there hideous she says there just big blobs ha

Then again her mom had a few of the nissan Z's back in the day. So I guess she was brought up to love them.

 

Lol, but yet her next car is going to be a G35...?

 

yup she doesnt like the look of the z but she does like the g35 look

 

I race my buddies '04 Z and he pulls me by a car every time. They are nice but the interior falls apart.
