im not very good at story telling so ill keep it short. i ran with a 1990? turbo civic hatch. we had two runs 1st run was up hill, he took me. second was from a 35 roll, we were pretty even until the top of my 2nd gear, after i shifted to 3rd he started walking me. i shut down at the top of 3rd because i was already at his bumper and he was still pulling on me. we stopped and i asked him what his mods were and he said he had a d15 boosting 9 psi. im pretty much stock except for tp. sorry if i cant tell a story!

My friend has a junk-yard turbo on a junk-yard motor in his civic and ran 14.3@97mph. SOHC with 9psi I think.

 

Sounds about right..Only usually when those singles run 14.3, it's closer to 100mph. They get no kind of traction in 1st gear! I mean none..Well unless there running some DR's, or slicks. A buddy of mine had one...D16 on 10psi, and ran in the high 13's. There not to fast, but considering its a Honda single cam...what more could you ask for really.

 

He was on a tire. His run w/o tire was a 14.7, lol. BADASS!!! car though. He blew the motor up 2X and just built another one in his livingroom. He does it for fun, not b/c he is ignorant or anything, he WANTED to blow one up just to do it (his words when everyone asked why he was running un-tuned). Just loves wrenching on stuff. People knock his car a lot, but he has $500 under the hood and runs low 14's and wrenches around on it when he damn well wants to. I RESPECT THAT!

 

it was quite fun to run with the civic. it made my night that night. he was a pretty nice guy also.

 

i would hope a S2000 could take out a 14+ second civic. get gears and or nitrous and blow his doors off!

 

my buddy rocks the sohc. D16 with skunk2 cam and custom turbo kit. how 400whp@30psi sound. stock bottom end/head/compression. its sick. hes almost maxing out 5th gear, he runs 11.4's@120+!!
