Hey guys a friend of mine recently picked up an 03 mustang gt with full exhaust, headers, intake, and throttle body. I think he also said he had a 3.9 rear end or something along those lines. My AP1 has berks header and test pipe. We went a couple of times, mostly from 2nd at about 40-45mph. We were right next to each other till the speeds starting getting higher and he started crawling away. He ended up getting me by about half a car at the end of 4th where I stopped. I also went from 1st at 25-30 but kept grinding into 2nd. I didnt grind one time and I got a good jump on him till again the end of 4th he caught up and probably had me by about a quarter of a car. I didnt think I did too bad, 70mm exhaust is on the way and ill be getting tuned with a vafc2.

i think so ive raced lots of gts with full exhaust and intakes and stuff like that from 60 punches and ive beat all of them by a good car

 

No, in fact it should've been worse. I had an 00 GT convertible with full exhaust and intake, and would put 2-3 cars on I/E/vafc'd s2k's through the 1/4.. Drivers do play a factor though..

 

with those mod's i would think it should b faster than an s2k, but nice kill!

my bad, sounds about right then --- but yea, bolt on mustang GT's of that year varies.. I've raced some that were total turtles and some that would just blow me away.. No blowers, No nos (i checked )
