I forgot to mention last week that I raced a new Miata that was kinda sooped up. and beat him pretty bad. Was on a freeway roll. How fast are they? I heard they are called the "S" models and are supposed to be the fastest Miata of its class.

 

160hp. you could beat him shiting at 5k.

The Mazdaspeed is the fastest model of the NB Miatas, 178hp.

But it is turbocharged, so modifying is not too tough (even with a small turbo).

for as light as they are, if they had more power, they'd be making the same power to weight that S2ks are You wouldn't want a factory Miata hanging with you on the highway, would ya? lol
