Finally got to run one. Was out running an errand with an s2k buddy and as I pass a neighborhood entrance I see a stock looking red SRT4 scurry out to get behind me. We come up to a double lane left turn and sat waiting for the light to turn green. I'm on the inside lane trying to have a conversation with my passenger while he's blairing some rap so nasty that I thought about putting the top up.

The light turns green and I take off quick, but no launch...I am having to make a 90deg left turn. Naturally, being on the inside and handling better I clear 1.5 car lengths by the apex. He cuts in behind me on the turn to hit the inside lane apex to try to catch up but I pull another car as 1st winds out to fuel cut off. By 8k rpm in 2nd I've added another 1/2 car length but have to abruptly slow down as I see a po-po travelling in the oncoming traffic.

I tell my passenger, "I bet he's wanting a boost controller now."

 

Nice run, I have yet to come across one of those

 

Ive always wanted to run one of those, from what I hear its supposed to be a pretty dead even race. My friend has one in the shop with a blown head gasket and a bunch of other problems, and its an 04... what does that tell you? Hes getting all that fixed and ill race him afterwards, hopefully ill have an exhaust by then.

No boost...just na bolt-ons, tuning, and gears
