I had a run with an srt8 last summer, guy was ahead of me driving hard then we hit a red light. Off the light when he stepped on it so did I, probably from around 20mph - 65mph I put 3-4 cars on him. But that's cuz I'm boosted lol guy didn't even acknowledge me after.

Hahah.. whatever... I laugh every time a POS 10 year old 2L "with my top down and a passenger" tries to race me. You sound just like every other 17 year old, pimply faced kid that just got their first "fast" car and now believes that their stock S2k will hang with GTRs and Ferraris..

Seriously, I put two car lengths on that supercharged Viper.. and I was in a stock s2k with my top down and 3 passengers. I do have a drop in K&N filter tho... BHAHAHAHAH...

And the douche bag returns ^ knew it wouldn't be long. Add 10 years to that age, no acne and a large bank account and subtract the fast car comment and you have me figured out pretty well :roll eyes:. I own and have owned many faster cars than my S. I have a Miata that's faster than my S. I simply state how over rated more powerful cars are, and how static these "high 12 and low 13 sec" cars have stayed for over 10 years. My OLD F BODY SS could run high 12s with sticky tires and a cat back. Who f@#king cares? Quarter mile times don't always tell the story, especially from a high speed roll. Get a life and keep telling everyone how fast your pos G SEDAN is. Get real...

You know nothing about net worth. Or money. I said 10 years older and a largeR bank account, sorry I left out the R. I've been laughing at your shit since your first uneducated post. I don't need to prove anything to you other than how dumb you sound talking back to someone you know nothing about and assuming your life experiences are universal. You define ignorance to the highest degree. I'm not the one barging in and downing someone here douche, you are. I've only compared cars against one another. I can back up anything I say and then some. I assure you. Are you done yet?

Leaving the "R" out is a pretty F'ing big deal. Makes the difference between sounding like an asshole and being reasonable. You are the one that left it out. Therefore, you sound like an asshole. And, yes I will talk to small brains like you any way i feel like.

You are the dumb shit that resurrected a dead thread to post about your "infinite" knowledge of how an S2k can keep up with an SRT. You also referenced me your previous posts... You have referenced 3 of your own cars and how "fast" they are.. You are the same dumb shit that said i know nothing about net worth or money, then go on to call me ignorant.. Seriously, do i need to go on and show how much of a f@#king small brain you are?

As I have already said in another thread... I'm done with you. It wastes too much of my time to read dribble from small brains...

You're not showing me anything other than how butt hurt you get when someone doesn't agree with you and how you don't agree with FACTS. If you're truly "Done with me" then shut the f@#k up and drop it. You're the one keeping this going. I'll post any RELEVANT facts that I please, and I even bought a GoPro to film my next encounter with the next "fast" car that wants to run. I won't lose any sleep if I never see your dumbass user name behind one of my posts again. Please, truly be done with me..

 You lost. Own up to it. The other driver let off the gas once you were in the rear view, just giving enough to keep you behind. But believe what you want.
Pretty sure I know what it sounds like when someone is charging through gears, shifting at 6500 rpm, especially since the POS had a loud exhaust system (not stock). And I said I was BEHIND HIM, i never said I passed him, did I? You weren't there, so speculate all you want. Challengers are a joke in any trim level and I wouldn't drive one if Dodge was giving them away. Face palm yourself, and don't forget to put your 80s leather jacket on and grease your hair next time you drive your "muscle car".
[/quote]

Regardless of which year or model SRT-8 are you talking about, it'll put buslengths on you from a roll or a stop. The higher the speeds, the faster the SRT-8 is going to drive away. It's just ignorant to insist otherwise. Yes, they weigh more than your car, but they make almost or more than 200 hp more, and well over twice the torque. If you think power-to-weight is important, all the SRT-8 cars trump the S2000 in that realm. And in point of fact, aerodynamic resistance trumps weight as speeds climb, rendering power-to-weight irrelevant past ~60mph. At higher speeds, the only numbers that really matter are horsepower and torque, which the SRT-8 cars possess in spades.

If you don't like people calling you out, don't insist you can keep up with much more powerful cars just because they let off the gas once they made their point. Anyone who has spent time running with powerful cars knows wishful thinking doesn't change physics. That other guy hassling you is a fool, but you are just being ignorant by making claims counter to reality. It doesn't help when you lose a race then proceed to insult the driver of the other car.

I don't own a "muscle car." Should I suggest you have an FOB haircut, coke-bottle glasses and buck teeth because you drive a Japanese car? Or would that be rude and borderline racist?

There's a lot of people who wouldn't be caught dead in a "hair-dresser's car" like to the two you claim to own, so I don't think you have a lot of justification for a superiority complex, especially when you fail to grasp how thoroughly that SRT-8 could have embarrassed you. You need to educate yourself if you don't want to be called out on your ignorance and poor sportsmanship. Ripping on the guy that indulged you in a quick run is just rude.

I'm not going to argue about this any more. I'm well aware of power to weight. My MSM weights 2390 lbs stripped and puts down over 250whp. Wanna run an SRT8 0-130??? I promise you don't. You can continue calling BS on this all day, I know what happened, and bought a GoPro to prove it next time. I have a 450+ bhp Kleemann-powered C55 when I want to move in a hurry, and yes it'll destroy my S, but it will also put train lengths on any SRT8 short of a Hennessey powered car. So I'll make sure to thoroughly embarrass one if I ever have a run in with one in it... Not trying to be rude, just stating what happened. Speculation is all you have here, as no one who called BS was in my car at the time. ANYONE who posts about the S keeping up with ANYTHING over 350bhp seems to be called a liar every time. I guess because a new Tundra has 381/400 tq it can smoke an S on top end too... Please.
