How do you know it wasn't a 2006 M3? I have clocked off 13.0x at a little over 107mph in my M3 when it was stock...better drivers have craced 12's in them stock. The M3 traps about 5-6mph faster than the S2000 which is substantial. My best trap ever in my S2000 before the blower was just shy of 101mph. If it's an SMG car and he's not in the right mode then it makes a pretty big difference. If his car was stock then I doubt very seriously he's ever pulled off a 12 sec run.

bc the OP said 02-05. im just going by wha he said. and the 02-05 E46 M3's are not mid 12 second cars stock

Maybe I was asking the OP...the 01-03's were the same...they changed a couple of things mid model year 03 so there's actually and 03.5 which is when they went to LED tails. From 03.5 to 06 there is virtually no difference. They are not mid 12 sec cars...they are capable of 12's with the right driver though.
I've seen videos of M3's that run high 12's stock.

Thanks, yeah but even though the m3 didn't have 3 people in it, he probably won't pull on me more than a car length,the way im looking at it,but it was a nice run though.since this was the only true m3 race i've been in, i was real suprised and happy w/ it
