the differences in speed is only like .1 in a quarter from LS1 to LS2..and slightly slower (.1) if auto tranny

 

.1 in the 1/4 mile @ 100mph is like 15 feet which is like a car and a half

 

where'd you get that? LS2's consistently hit .5 quicker in the 1/4.

 

Na it was a ls2. I was kinda bummed I didn't put more on him but it was from 25. I'm gunna try and do a 40 with him this weekend after the dyno

 

Why wait till 3rd to spray?

 

watch out though. those LS engines are a cam, exhaust, intake away from 500 NA hp

 

few friends that own both. idk, maybe they are wrong, the above is what they mentioned when i told em about the thread...then again, i dont street race so i have not seen it myself

 

Car and driver said 13.8 ( LS1 aka 5.7 GTO) to 13.3 (6.0 aka LS2 GTO) which is more than .1 my friend..

The fastest I've seen on the forums for the LS2 bone stock was 12.7/8 and 13.4/5 for the LS1..

My friend with 6 speed full bolt on LS2 GTO ran a stock LS1 GTO with 100 shot auto and 50-140 dead even..

The LS2 is another freak of nature compared to the LS1
