Tonight I was challanged by a Eclipse...yes guys it was also a convertable.The guy was very interested in my car, so thinking he would be cool I showed him around it. He asked to see the engine, I went ahead the first thing he says when I pull the hood up is "ha you got no turbo". I stared at him and said "nope". He proceeds with a retarted smile and goes "then your not ready for my car". He points to a black (im guessing late 90's) convertable Eclipse and goes "see that GST over there". Looking at it I see it's a five speed standard, he pops the hood and he says "see I got something your gonna need". (points to the turbo) I asked where his intercooler was, he goes ugh.......... (pauses for like 3 mins) looking all over for it. After a long three mins of searching he finds it, it's on the passenger side behind the hole for a fog light. By this point i'm assured the GST is stock and he tells me it's going to outrun my S, So he asks to race I said "sure".


1st race. I was in 3rd around 40mph, about 4k. We beep we go, vtec hits I go like 6-7 cars I let go at 90 he does the flyby

2nd race like 10mph, I wanted to do a dig but he insisted, same outcome it's cold I spun a little in 2nd but around 90 shut down again with 6 cars on him.



I had a passanger and a half tank btw

We got back to the parking lot and all he did was run his mouth. How S2000's are soo over rated, there for homo's,it's a girls car,at least I have a back seat, anything he could find. I stood there and smiled right at him.... wanted to share some of this with you guys.

good win i raced a gst with 6 bolt engine swap upgraded turbo upgraded bov fmic wastegate turbo manifold....no engine internals but basically everything else we did a few runs on the highway basically even this was when my car was stock

Those cars were very capable and fun to drive...however it was essentially a chrysler in misubishi clothing unfortunately. Strong bottom end
