AP2 vs Integra

AP2 vs Integra
About a week ago I sort of raced a tuned DC2 Integra coupe (probably a GS-R) from a roll. It wasn't exactly a proper race since he floored it maybe a second before I tried to keep up, but DAMN he was fast. He kept pulling away from me up to around 80mph. He was lowered and had a loud ass single-tip exhaust, and probably a built B18c1. All I have is a K&N intake and coilovers. I know a stock GS-R weighs around the same as a stock AP2, so I'm assuming he either stripped his interior or is pushing 250+ hp at the crank. Either way, it was fairly impressive for a FWD.

Cool story but you need a few things for it to be an encounter. Ex: What was the roll speed? How many car lengths did he pull on you? Did you start the roll in or out of vtec? etc

stock GSR is lighter than an ap2
ap2 = 2850
gsr = 2660
ap2 = 2850
gsr = 2660

Rolling speed was around 15 or 20 mph. I started in 2nd gear, out of VTEC. Again, I had a slight delay before I started pushing it. I followed him onto the freeway and we did a second pull. This time he started behind me from probably 60mph. I got into VTEC immediately and tried to keep up, but he passed me and pulled a couple of car lengths before letting off at 85 or 90.

Good point. So he had a 200lb weight advantage stock, probably even lighter.
Definitely possible. I couldn't hear any SC whine at all cause his exhaust was so damn loud.

What he said^^^^ in todays date, any little old honda is very fast... to pull on highway speed like you explained im guessing he is 2.0 or over... plus weight advantage... you running stock had no chance, sorry bro
