Default ap2 vs. RX8/G35

Had a few runs last night

RX8: Completly stock, I launched at around 6k fully disengaging the clutch, probably the reason why I bogged a bit, and from the start began to pull away, by the end of the 1/4 I had put about 2-4 car lengths on em.

G35: Then, the passenger comes out of the RX8 and says "do you want to run my car?" Then he tells me hes got a G35, only mod is a Nismo CAI. I new that my Honda would be unforgiving if I got a bad launch so this time I launched around 6.5-7k. Lots of wheel spin but no bogging. I could see his front fenders and bumper at my window the whole time, this didn't change till the end of the race.

Before this I had only run a few LT1s and Mustang GTs, but I felt pretty satisfied with these two Wins

Wait, so the Rx-8 had a passenger in it? Well, that's not a fair race....heavier, less power, also lacks torque.

Good kill on the G though.

Rx-8 without passenger and a 80lb Anorexic perfect driver still won't beat a decent driver on a s2k....

Good Kills....

what does feathering mean? Also, what mods do you have when you beat these 2 cars? Nice kills!

feathering means you ease the clutch more slowly into engagemnent.. this way, you can control the amount of power being transferred to the transmission and thus the wheels without use of the throttle. I've never launched an S2k, but I imagine this would be worse for the car because it could stop the rear wheels from breaking free. either the wheels break free, or you put lots of stress on the diff.

It was my first time at the drags. I have the megan test pipe and then I replaced the resonater in between the mufflers and cat with a 2.5'' straight pipe.
