when you ran you car and got the 2.3 60ft what were you launching at?
I launched at 7k and spun. I could pull 2.1-2.2 on my civic all day, now I can't get below a 2.3 on a damn RWD with more power. I just gotta get some more practice. Anyway congrats on the times, a video would be nice to dispell any doubts. If your going for the record, Video is the only way to prove it on the net. I say screw stock, I wan't 12's NA. My new gears + intake + sticky tires and VAFCII should get me close if I can get a decent 60 ft. Mugen header is backordered.

here's a vid of my run, kinda crappy. It's the first race, me vs. nightstalker's boosted s2k. He spun too and had to let out. So I beat a boosted s2k LOL.

you see, heres the thing:

i understand that you are a member, in additon to your moderator position, but what you have to understand is, how you act, and how you deal with people, reflects the webiste you "work" for, as a whole.

to be completely honest, i joined this community with nothing but good intentions. im not a cocky person, but i known to be a pioneer as far as setting or breaking records. im very well known for my driving abilities.

ive always wanted an s2000 and i was recently given the opportunity to get one; i took it to the track, and did pretty well considering it was 100% stock. full interior, full exhaust, WITH the clutch delay valve and everything. Basically, i thought a 13.7 was DAMN GOOD if i do say so myself... all i wanted to do was SHARE that information with the rest of the community, and for no reason whatsoever, YOU jumped down MY throat. what i said was not DEFENSIVE, i understand that it may seem that way, since what i ran was somewhat unbelieveable, but rather than ask questions or congratulate me, you decided to attack me by claiming i attacked someone else... and another thing, why WOULDNT i be defensive? i did something, and i told people about it honestly, and people are already beginning to doubt me? you say i expected it. OF COURSE I DID, ive done all this before!

at the end of the day, it all boils down to this: ive done well with the S2000, ive broken records with my EP3 (which still stand) and if all i get from sharing my story with you all is negativity, then youre not exactly making it very appealing for me to stick around...

so no matter how well you THINK you do your job, youre not doing it that well, because i ALREADY want to leave and i doubt thats what the admin wants you do do around here...

kthxbye

-aarie... fastest all motor a3 = ep3 (i-VTEC.NET Project Car / http://www.i-vtec.net/forums/showthread.php?t=131 ) and im coming for the fastest stock s2k 1320.

Good luck. Just to let you know the fastest confirmed 1/4 mile is a 13.6 and I recently heard of a 13.5. By the way, so what? Who cares if you break the "record". Get over yourself. You are 10 days old already trying to pick a fight for no reason with Matt. Just give it up, not a good way to post your times. Don't be an asshole, we're all friends here. Just apologize if you have to and move the **** on.

Edit: Who cares if you leave, actually go. This is a privately owned website and guests like you and me don't really matter. Don't like it, leave. Cya

[QUOTE=RED MX5,Mar 18 2006, 01:15 PM] I have followed this thread from the beginning, and I have to say that I did NOT see any of your early comments as defensive, and I think you've kept a pretty level head while those around you repeatedly responded with knee-jerk reactions.
